Description
It is considered one of the important early publications on natural history in the United States. Interestingly, it predates Audubon’s Quadrupeds and it’s dramatic style is reminiscent of the Hudson River School of painting of which the artist was an early member.

Condition: Lower edge uneven from disbinding, two small foxing marks otherwise excellent condition.
