Rev. J.G. Wood & L. Prang "Crab-Spider or Matoudou" 1898
Product ID: 32004

Details

From Our Living World Popular Edition A Natural History by the Rev. J.G. Wood, Revised and Adapted by American Zoology by Joseph B. Holder, M.D.

This print is on sale for half the normal price because it was bought out of auction and was previously matted in a non-acid free mat. As a result, it sustained a mat mark and some mat toning, but will mat very nicely if it is done so that the mat line is concealed in an acid-free mat. Please click on "Details" and then click the arrow for image two to see the scan that shows how the print will look when the mat burn is matted out.

4to, 9" x 12 1/2" overall measurement, chromolithograph, fair condition, two 1/4" expertly repaired tears at top edge will mat out, one expertly repaired tear right margin will mat out, mat burn from non acid-free mat, published by Selmar Hess, New York, c. 1898. *Please Note* This image is digitally watermarked, but the electronic watermark does not appear on the actual print.
